Brian Mackey is a strategic finance leader with over a decade of experience operating at the intersection of private aviation, financial planning, and executive decision-making.
Before founding JetLedger Advisors, Brian led Financial Planning & Analysis for a Fortune 500 flight department—where he partnered directly with VPs of Aviation and corporate executives to manage multimillion-dollar budgets, optimize cost structures, and guide long-range capital strategy. His financial models influenced fleet decisions. His reporting shaped executives conversations. His leadership earned him the company’s HR Pinnacle Award for excellence in enterprise financial reporting.
Brian’s expertise spans everything from compliant personal use tracking to ownership cost modeling, vendor spend optimization, and executive-grade reporting. He doesn’t just understand aviation operations—he knows how to translate them into financial narratives that hold up to scrutiny and drive strategic advantage.
With an M.S. in Organizational Leadership and a B.S. in Accounting, Brian brings both the analytical depth and executive poise that high-performing flight departments demand.
